The MA-BT240 is a compact mixing amplifier that combines low-impedance stereo amplification and high-impedance constant-voltage output in a half-rack 1U chassis. It integrates a Bluetooth receiver for wireless audio streaming alongside mic and line inputs. The unit is designed to deliver reliable audio coverage for small commercial spaces.
Key features include Class D amplification delivering 120W x 2 into low-impedance loads and 240W x 1 in 70V/100V mode, a front-panel Bluetooth antenna, and a dedicated mic/line input with ducking. The front panel provides level controls for each input plus treble and bass tone controls. An output high-pass filter and stereo/mono switch allow system tuning to different speaker configurations.
Technical performance supports a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz within +2 dB/-2 dB and distortion measured at 0.05% or less under defined conditions. Signal-to-noise ratio is specified at 92 dB or more and crosstalk at 70 dB or more. Bluetooth 5.1 with A2DP and SBC/AAC codec support provides reliable wireless playback from modern mobile devices.
Connectivity includes a balanced combo front mic/line input plus a rear Euroblock balanced mic/line connector, two unbalanced RCA line inputs, and unbalanced RCA line outputs. Speaker connections are provided via Euroblock terminals for both low-impedance and high-impedance wiring. A 3-pin Euroblock remote connector allows external volume control integration.
The MA-BT240 fits installation scenarios such as retail background music, restaurant paging systems, corporate waiting areas, and small houses of worship. Mic ducking/paging functionality ensures announcements are clearly heard by automatically attenuating background music during speech. Stereo or mono output selection and tone controls help tailor sound to room acoustics and speaker placement.
Setup is straightforward with front-panel controls for input levels and EQ plus simple connector layout for speakers and sources. Natural convection cooling and a robust metal chassis support long-term installation use. The compact footprint and optional rack kits enable desktop placement or standard rack mounting where required.
