The LRC-1100-W is a 1m passive column loudspeaker designed for installed audio and voice evacuation systems. It provides EN54-24 certification for life-safety applications and an outdoor exposure rating for exposed installations. The slim profile and neutral aesthetic make it suitable for foreground and background sound applications in many environments.
Key features include twelve 2.5 in active drivers and three passive radiators using proprietary PaSS dispersion control to deliver controlled directivity. The system provides 130deg horizontal coverage and a switchable 20deg/40deg vertical pattern along with a 5deg acoustic down-tilt. A pre-installed 70/100V transformer with Automatic Saturation Compensation (ASC) preserves low-frequency response on distributed lines.
Performance spans 65 Hz to 14,000 Hz with maximum SPLs of 126 dB narrow and 123 dB wide at 1 m. Axial sensitivity is 93 dB SPL 1W/1m narrow and 91 dB SPL 1W/1m wide, and power handling is rated 200 W continuous and 400 W program. The loudspeaker can operate in low-impedance 8 ohm mode or on 70 V/100 V lines using selectable transformer taps up to 120 W.
Connectivity is via a 4-pin Euroblock connector and the unit includes an input plus pass-through facility for daisy-chaining. Wire size accepts up to 12AWG conductors and the enclosure provides M8 suspension points for rigging. The LRC line is supported by EASE/EASE Focus3, PREVIEW Loudspeaker Software and SONICUE system software for integration and system design.
Typical applications include life-safety voice evacuation, background music in hospitality and retail, and speech reinforcement in transit and educational facilities. The EN54-24 certification and outdoor exposure rating make the product suitable for public-address networks requiring regulatory compliance. Installation is simplified by the included SwifTilt multi-angle tilt and pan bracket that allows wall-close mounting, down-tilt, inverted up-tilt and +/-80deg pan. Multiple vertical down-tilt angles are selectable for precise aiming and the unit ships in a white finish that blends into many interiors. Robust weather sealing and rugged mechanical points support long-term installed performance.
