The LRC-1060-W is a passive column loudspeaker designed for fixed installation in indoor and outdoor environments. It provides focused horizontal coverage and narrow vertical dispersion to deliver intelligible speech and balanced music reproduction. The EN54-24 certification and weather-resistant construction make it suitable for certified emergency voice alarm systems.
Key features include six 2.5 in full-range drivers and two 2.5 in passive radiators that extend low-frequency response while keeping the cabinet compact. The loudspeaker offers 130 degree horizontal and 20 degree symmetrical vertical coverage for controlled patterning. It includes an internal 70 V / 100 V transformer and Electro-Voice ASC technology to preserve low-frequency performance when the transformer is engaged.
Performance specifications include a frequency range down to the mid 70 Hz region and up to 15 kHz, 122 dB peak sound pressure level, 90 dB sensitivity, and 200 W program power handling. The speaker is rated Lo-Z at 8 ohms for direct low-impedance connection and accepts recommended high-pass filtering at 70 Hz Butterworth 24 dB/oct. These parameters support clean vocal reproduction and reliable SPL headroom for public address and background music.
Connectivity is provided via a 4-pin Euroblock connector with input and pass-through wiring, and the speaker supports 12 AWG maximum wire size. Transformer tap settings are provided for 70 V and 100 V lines to match system power needs. The LRC-1060-W is supported by EV system tools including EASE/EASE Focus3, PREVIEW Loudspeaker Software and SONICUE for design and simulation workflows.
Typical applications include main or support loudspeakers in houses of worship, auditoriums, retail spaces, and outdoor covered areas. The column design and narrow vertical pattern help minimize ceiling and floor reflections while providing broad horizontal coverage for even audience coverage.
