The KD-X3x1WUTx is an HDBaseT wall-plate transmitter and presentation switcher designed to centralize AV and USB connections at the room edge. It combines HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA and USB-C inputs with networked HDBaseT extension to a remote receiver or presentation switch. The unit supports auto-switching and CEC display control to simplify meeting room operation.
This wall-plate switcher supports a 3×1 presentation switching topology and auto-sensing source selection by push-button or IP control. It extends video up to 4K/UHD at 4:4:4 and carries USB 2.0, IR and bi-directional RS-232 control over a single Cat5e/6 cable. The unit accepts HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA plus analog L/R audio and includes USB-A and USB-B for soft-codec peripherals.
Performance supports 4K/UHD 24/25/30/60hz at 4:4:4 with up to 18 Gbps bandwidth and HDCP 2.2 compliance. HDR10 metadata is passed to enable higher dynamic range images. Extension distance is up to 100m/328ft for 4K and up to 150m/492ft for 1080p depending on cable quality and resolution.
Connectivity includes an HDBaseT RJ45 output plus local HDMI output and analog balanced/unbalanced L/R audio de-embedding with PCM digital output. USB host and device ports create a soft-codec enabling hub for cameras, microphones and touch displays when paired with a compatible receiver or presentation switch. The unit supports CEC Manager for display power and volume control and is KD-App ready for network discovery and control.
Typical applications include conference rooms, classrooms, lecture halls and auditoriums where a clean wall-plate integration point is required. The KD-X3x1WUTx centralizes source switching, extends AV and control signals to a central receiver, and enables USB peripherals to be located at the display or a central host. Auto-sensing and push-button selection reduce user training and speed meeting startup.
Installation is straightforward into a standard US three-gang box or wall AV enclosure and the transmitter is powered over HDBaseT from a compatible receiver or presentation switch. The metal enclosure and Full Buffer System help ensure reliable EDID management, HDCP authentication and signal re-clocking.
