This cable kit is designed to provide complete cabling for a rugged 4-port HDMI secure KVM system – delivering host, console and power interconnects compatible with military-grade connectors. The kit supports the connector types and power profile used by the referenced secure KVM platform. It is intended to simplify installation by providing matched cable sets for hostile environments.
The kit includes dedicated host interface cabling for four HDMI inputs and one console HDMI output plus a power cable set meeting the nominal 28VDC input range. The assemblies use D38999 multipin connector interfaces to maintain sealed mechanical and electrical connections. These cable sets maintain compatibility with optional composite or VGA input configurations when provided by the host device.
Video performance aligns with the supported formats of the platform, including HDMI up to 4K@30Hz and up to 2600×1600@60Hz where applicable. Power cabling is specified for 28VDC nominal operation with an 18V to 36V operating window and supports a system power budget up to 40W. Cable terminations and wiring are designed to meet military environmental and EMI expectations when mated to matching connectors.
Connectivity is implemented using industry-standard HDMI signaling in DVI-D compatible form factors and USB 2.0 interfaces carried through the multi-pin connectors. Control and remote console connections are supported via the console multipin connector to accept remote control accessories. The assemblies are intended to interface directly to the matching rugged receptacles on the KVM switch and remote modules.
This cable kit is suitable for vehicle, marine and airborne installations where sealed connector interfaces and TEMPEST-grade secure switching are required. The cable sets are intended to support MIL-STD deployment requirements including vibration, humidity, altitude and immersion exposures when used with compliant hardware. They help reduce installation complexity in constrained or mobile operator stations.
