The KC-VIRTUALBRAIN5 is a compact hardware control platform that ships with five Kramer BRAINware software instances preinstalled. It is designed to centralize control of up to five standard AV spaces and to run Kramer Control logic without installing a dedicated physical Brain per room. The unit provides a software-first approach that simplifies system deployment and management.
Key capabilities include cloud-enabled Kramer Control integration, a drag-and-drop Builder for UI and logic design, and built-in support for controlling devices over Ethernet. The platform can operate scalers, displays, amplifiers, players, sensors, shades and lighting using standard network control. It also supports format conversion when used with Kramer FC converters to expand device compatibility.
Under the hood the unit is powered by a 4th generation Intel dual-core 1.4 GHz processor, 4 GB of high-speed memory and a 32 GB solid-state drive for reliable local operation. Network connectivity is gigabit Ethernet and the unit provides HDMI input and HDMI output along with multiple USB ports. Power is supplied by a 12 V DC adapter and typical consumption is 700 mA for efficient low-voltage operation.
Connectivity options include 2 USB 3.0 connectors plus an additional USB port, one RJ-45 Gigabit LAN port, and female HDMI input and output connectors. Kramer BRAINware exposes a customizable UI through Kramer Control so integrators can tailor interfaces for touch panels and keypads. The platform supports standard AV control protocols across Ethernet to interface with third-party devices via protocol converters where required.
The KC-VIRTUALBRAIN5 is suitable for boardrooms, classrooms, training spaces and small meeting clusters where centralized software control reduces hardware count. A single device can manage up to five standard rooms enabling streamlined installation and lower rack space usage. Installation and commissioning are straightforward thanks to the included VESA bracket and simple configuration flow in Kramer Control Builder. The compact metal enclosure and small footprint allow flexible mounting and discreet placement in racks or behind displays. The device is rated to operate between 0 to +40 C and supports storage down to -40 C, ensuring robust performance in typical AV environments.

Difference between tracking number provided by UPS vs USPS Delivery Confirmation number is: Delivery Confirmation status is updated when the delivery has been made or when the package has made it through major USPS stations.
Air Shipment
Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods. Up-to-date tracking information is provided with each Air Shipment. AVProSupply has the right to choose between Air shipments to meet or reduce delivery time. Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
