The ADDERLink ipeps mini is a compact standalone KVM over IP device that enables secure remote access to a single HDMI-equipped computer. It provides full keyboard, video and mouse control over any network connection using a VNC viewer. The unit supports BIOS-level access and continues to operate even if the controlled device is not booted into the OS.
The unit accepts a single HDMI input at resolutions up to 1920×1200 and streams video to remote clients using RealVNC viewer technology. It supports 8 bit per channel colour depth and delivers responsive remote control subject to available network bandwidth. Hardware-based video capture ensures signal continuity during boot and error states.
Security is provided by AES 128 or 256 bit encryption and RSA 2048 bit public key authentication, combined with VNC ciphering for user sessions. The ipeps mini supports up to eight simultaneous remote users and can manage up to 16 user profiles with configurable access rights. Enterprise credential and session controls are included for secure multi-user environments.
Connectivity includes one HDMI input and two USB A ports offering full USB 2.0 emulation for keyboard, mouse and peripheral support. A single RJ45 link port provides 1GbE network bandwidth for KVM traffic. Power can be supplied from two USB power sources or an optional external 5VDC, 1A supply.
Typical applications include remote server administration, headless computer control, and secure remote access to single-screen systems where BIOS-level control is required. The device is also suitable as a remote gateway into ADDERLink INFINITY and compatible matrix systems to extend networked access. Its compact footprint and straightforward cabling make it easy to deploy in server rooms and control rooms.
Installation is simple and does not require host software installation beyond RealVNC viewer on the remote client. The unit is built with ABS and aluminium materials for durability and supports continuous operation across standard temperature and humidity ranges. Firmware updates and user management are accessible via network configuration tools.
