The IPEL-E80F-IRW3 is an 8MP 4K UHD Starlight eyeball dome camera that delivers high-resolution surveillance day and night. It combines a 2.8mm medium wide-angle lens with a Starlight sensor to retain color at very low lux levels and provide detailed 4K imagery. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, this camera supports advanced metadata-based AI detection to enhance scene understanding.
Key features include IC Realtime FlexSmartAi running iMD 2.0 for deep learning metadata streaming, SmartIR illumination up to 98.4ft, and a broad 107h x 56v field of view. The camera supports three independent streams and scene-adaptive Smart H.265+ compression to lower bandwidth and storage needs. Built-in IVS functions such as tripwire and intrusion improve human and vehicle detection accuracy for event-driven alerts.
Technical performance centers on a 1/2.8″ 8MP progressive CMOS sensor producing 3840 x 2160 resolution at standard frame rates. Low light sensitivity reaches 0.007 lux in color and 0.0007 lux in black and white, with IR illumination available at 0 lux when active. Additional imaging features include 120dB WDR, 3D DNR noise reduction, BLC/HLC, and multiple exposure and region controls to maintain clarity across challenging scenes.
Connectivity options include 10/100Base-T Ethernet with IPv4/IPv6 support and broad protocol compatibility such as RTSP, ONVIF Profile S/G/T, FTP/SFTP and SNMP. The camera supports PoE (802.3af) or 12VDC power and accepts up to a 256GB microSD card for local edge storage. Compatibility extends to most NVRs, VMS platforms and IC Realtime AI-NVRs for object search and metadata indexing.
