The IPEL-B12V-IRW3 is a 12MP 4000×3000 IP indoor/outdoor bullet camera designed for high-resolution surveillance and advanced scene analytics. It combines a 1/1.7″ progressive CMOS sensor with a motorized 2.7-12mm power zoom lens to capture detailed imagery across wide fields of view. Built-in FlexSmartAi and metadata streaming enable intelligent detection and rapid object search.
Key capabilities include Starlight low-light color performance down to 0.0009 lux and SmartIR illumination to 196.9 ft for clear grayscale imaging in near-dark conditions. The camera supports H.265/H.264 compression, five simultaneous streams, and configurable output resolutions from full 12MP down through commonly supported lower resolutions. Onboard AI functions cover people and vehicle metadata, face detection/recognition, parking space management, and ANPR up to 37 MPH.
Core technical specifications include a 1/1.7″ 12 Megapixel progressive CMOS image sensor, RAM/ROM 4GB/8GB, and progressive scanning. The main stream supports 4000 × 3000 at 1-25/30 fps and the camera implements 3D DNR, DWDR, BLC/HLC and multiple white balance modes. Local edge storage is supported via microSD up to 512 GB and the unit includes a 256 MB microSD slot for immediate on-camera buffering.
Connectivity provisions include an RJ-45 network port (10/100Base-T), audio in/out (RCA), alarm I/O (3 in/2 out), and a detachable BNC analog test port. Power options are 12 VDC, 24 VAC, PoE+ (802.3at) and ePoE for flexible installations. The camera is ONVIF Profile S/G/T and HTML5/CGI compatible for broad VMS and NVR interoperability.
Recommended applications include perimeter and asset protection, parking and license plate capture, facial recognition monitoring, and high-density scene observation where forensic detail is required. The camera’s AI metadata stream pairs with IC Realtime Object Search AI NVRs to locate objects across multiple cameras without external cloud services. ANPR supports a 10,000 entry allowlist/blocklist for automated vehicle control workflows.
Installation is simplified by a weatherproof pigtail with co-located network/audio/alarm connectors, a detachable BNC installer port, and optional mounting boxes and brackets. The housing is IP67 rated and IK10 vandal resistant to withstand outdoor exposure.
