The HT-AIM-70-TX is an HDBaseT HDMI transmitter designed to extend HDMI video and control signals over a single category cable. It delivers 4K@60Hz at 4:2:0 8-bit with HDCP 2.2 compatibility and zero latency transmission. The unit is compact and engineered for professional AV installations that require reliable long-distance signal distribution.
Key features include HDCP 2.2 support, EDID management and embedded audio transport. The transmitter supports bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC) allowing a single power supply at either end and includes two-way IR and RS232 pass-through for control. These capabilities preserve source authentication and simplify system control from remote locations.
Performance details include support for 4K@60Hz 4:2:0 8-bit over a single category cable and distance scaling by cable type. Over Cat6 the transmitter extends 4K60 up to 35 meters and 1080p up to 60 meters. Using Cat6A or Cat7 cabling the range increases to 40 meters for 4K60 and 70 meters for 1080p.
Connectivity options include an HDMI input and HDBaseT RJ45 output compatible with standard Cat5e/6/6A/7 cabling. The unit supports EDID management to ensure source/display handshake and audio embedding so audio remains synchronized with video. Control pass-through is provided via bi-directional IR and RS232 to maintain remote device control.
The HT-AIM-70-TX is suitable for meeting rooms, digital signage, houses of worship and education AV systems where centralized sources need to reach remote displays. It works with HDCP 2.2 protected sources and integrates into existing category cable infrastructures. The zero latency characteristic makes it suitable where real-time video is required.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the slimline form factor and PoC capability which reduces power cabling requirements – a single adapter at either end is sufficient. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods. Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
