The HT-300-C is a handheld dynamic microphone transmitter designed to operate with compatible R300-HD wireless receivers. It pairs a metal-bodied transmitter with a PL22 cardioid capsule to capture vocals and speech reliably. The unit operates in the 516 to 532 MHz UHF band and supports 32 selectable channels for flexible frequency allocation.
Key features include a true diversity RF design, internal shockmount for reduced handling noise, and a dynamic element that does not draw power from the transmitter battery. The PL22 cardioid polar pattern improves voice intelligibility and helps reduce feedback when used with properly tuned sound systems. The transmitter provides an 8 mW RF output and an LCD (non-backlit) display for status information.
Technical performance covers a frequency response of 80 Hz to 18 kHz and a quoted dynamic range of 95 dB. The transmitter runs on two AA batteries and delivers up to 14 hours of operation under typical conditions. RF channel scanning is Auto-Scan and the system supports up to one transmitter per band in this configuration.
Connectivity is intentionally compact – the handheld includes an internal antenna and a microphone-level input element; there are no USB or audio I/O ports on the transmitter body. Muting is provided via a dedicated mute switch on the handheld. The transmitter is not equipped with encryption, built-in recording, timecode support, or mobile app compatibility.
Typical applications include live vocal performance, spoken word events, and presentations where a handheld wireless mic is required. The rugged metal housing and lightweight balance make the transmitter comfortable for extended use on stage or in event environments. The cardioid PL22 head is optimized to favor close-up vocal pickup while rejecting off-axis sound.
