The Solidcom C1 Pro is a full-duplex wireless intercom system that pairs a hub with eight DECT headsets to deliver clear team communication on set. It uses dual-microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation to isolate speech in noisy environments. The system provides a reliable line-of-sight range up to 1,100ft and a wideband audio response for intelligible voice reproduction.
Key features include dual-mic ENC, DECT 6.0 wireless technology, A/B dual grouping and a three-system cascaded connection option. The hub offers an OB10 headset interface and a variety of wired audio ports while the wired headsets include built-in ENC and physical volume controls. The headsets provide about 10 hours of operation and fast charging to keep production moving.
Technically the system supports a frequency response of 150Hz to 7kHz, RX sensitivity below -90dBm and a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 55dB. Wireless modulation uses GFSK with adaptive frequency hopping and transmit power up to 21dBm. The hub bandwidth is 1.728MHz and measured distortion is under 1 percent which supports clear voice monitoring.
Connectivity covers RJ45 four-wire audio, 2-wire ports, PGM audio, USB and USB-C, plus a dedicated RF antenna interface on the hub. Power options for the hub include DC input plus NP-F, V-mount and G-mount battery support while headsets charge via USB-C. The hub and headsets are designed to integrate with common production wiring and headset panels.
Typical applications include broadcast and ENG crews, live event communication and film production where hands-free full-duplex coordination is required. The system suits environments with high ambient noise due to its ENC algorithm and dual-mic design. A three-system cascade enables larger teams to expand communication coverage when needed.
Setup is straightforward – the system is ready out of box and the hub provides stable wired headset attachment for OB10 headsets. The headsets are lightweight and durable with adjustable volume in seven steps to fit operator preferences.
