The Hi5-12G-R is a compact fiber SFP receiver that converts single-link 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 for professional 4K/UltraHD monitoring. It accepts SDI or fiber LC inputs and presents HDMI 2.0 output, preserving high frame rate image fidelity. The unit is intended for live production, post, and monitoring workflows where cable runs or display compatibility require conversion.
Key capabilities include support for High Frame Rate up to 60p at 4K, HDR metadata generation, and 12-bit workflows for color-critical applications. The Hi5-12G-R generates HDR10 metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0b / CTA-861-G and supports HLG over HDMI. A reclocked SDI loop out provides confidence monitoring or pass-through for SDI pipelines.
Performance specifications target pristine image fidelity across 12G-SDI single-link sources and extended distances via the included Fiber LC SFP receiver. The device supports 4K/UltraHD at up to 60 frames per second and maintains color depth up to 12-bit where sources permit.
