The HALO VX10 v2 is an all-in-one 4K video bar designed to deliver clear video and intelligible audio in small meeting rooms, huddle rooms and home offices. It combines a 4K wide-angle AI camera, dual stereo speakers and a beamforming four-microphone array in a compact enclosure. The unit is Zoom Certified for reliable compatibility with major UC platforms – ensuring predictable performance in video calls and presentations.
Key features include a 4K30Hz fixed-focus camera with a 120deg field of view and 5x digital zoom, AI auto-framing and presenter/speaker tracking. Audio is handled by two full-frequency speakers and four beamforming microphones with noise reduction, acoustic echo cancellation and AGC. The device also supports local configuration via the WyreStorm HALO app for Windows and macOS.
Video performance supports up to 3840×2160 at 30fps and outputs MJPEG YUV2 H.264 H.265 via UVC 1.1. The image path uses a 1/2.7 inch CMOS sensor and a multi-glass lens to maintain clarity across the wide field of view. The camera’s AI-driven framing and tracking modes crop and center participants automatically to keep the active speaker or presenter in view.
Connectivity is straightforward: a single USB-C input handles video and control while an analog 3.5mm audio output provides audio distribution to external speakers. The HALO VX10 v2 is plug-and-play on Windows and macOS with no driver required, and it is compatible with Zoom, Teams, Skype, WebEx and other UC platforms. The included DC12V power adapter supports multiple regional plug types.
Practical use cases include huddle-room conferencing for 4 to 7 participants, single-presenter streaming in remote offices, and desktop collaboration for hybrid teams. The 120deg FOV captures side-by-side participants without repositioning and the 5m microphone pickup range ensures voices are captured naturally up to approximately 16ft. Auto-framing and speaker tracking simplify meetings by reducing manual camera adjustments.
Installation and day-to-day operation are designed to be simple and reliable.
