The EZ-SX4X is a compact 4×1 stereo audio switcher that provides source selection and front-panel level control in a single chassis. It accepts four unbalanced stereo sources and presents a line-level output suitable for feeding power amplifiers or recording devices. The unit uses solid-state switching to maintain signal integrity during source changes.
Front-panel interlocking pushbuttons enable one-touch selection between inputs and a large level knob sets the line output level. Gold-plated RCA jacks on the rear panel ensure reliable connections and corrosion resistance. The solid-state design removes mechanical switching noise from the signal path and improves long-term reliability.
Audio performance is engineered for professional audio paths with a frequency response rated at 10 Hz to 20 kHz (±0.01 dB) and THD+N below 0.02%. Crosstalk is specified at less than -70 dB at 1 kHz and noise is below -80 dB referenced to -10 dBV. The level control provides up to +12 dB of gain and the output can reach up to +17 dBV maximum.
Connectivity is straightforward with four sets of stereo RCA inputs and a stereo RCA line output on the rear panel. The unit accepts nominal -10 dBV consumer-level sources and can handle signals up to +10 dBV on inputs. It is powered by a 24 Vdc supply and draws 30 mA idle and up to 60 mA maximum.
The EZ-SX4X is suited to retail audio, houses of worship, restaurants, clubs and compact home audio systems where simple source selection and a local volume control are required. The front-panel control allows staff or end users to select and set the level at the point of use. The short depth and 1/3-rack width make it easy to install in space-constrained racks or furniture.
Installation is simple with rear RCA terminations and a small external 24 Vdc power supply connection. The unit features a rugged metal case and full-size pushbuttons for reliable daily operation. Solid-state switching and gold-plated connectors contribute to long service life and consistent audio quality.

Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods. Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
