The EZ-MPA1X is a compact microphone preamplifier that converts mic-level signals to line-level stereo outputs. It provides front-panel level control and dual-LED VU metering for quick visual monitoring. The unit includes a front-panel compressor to control peaks and prevent clipping during transient signals.
Key features include a balanced XLR mic input, switch-selectable 24 V phantom power for condenser microphones, and a 20 dB range audio compressor that can be enabled from the front panel. The preamplifier offers an adjustable gain range up to 50 dB to accommodate a wide range of microphone types. Dual outputs are available on RCA or mini-jack connections so the preamp signal can feed two channels or duplicate a single mono source.

Switchable phantom power conforms to IEC 61938:2013 at 24 V for condenser microphone compatibility.
