The EZ-HDA6X is a compact stereo headphone distribution amplifier designed to feed six independent stereo headphone outputs from a single source. It provides one stereo input selectable via mini jack, 1/4 in TRS or RCA connectors and distributes the signal to six rear-panel 1/4 in headphone jacks. The unit includes a worldwide-capable power supply for international installations – ideal where reliable multi-listener monitoring is required.
Each of the six outputs has its own front-panel level control so individual listeners can set comfortable listening levels without affecting others. Inputs include gold-plated RCA connectors, a stereo mini jack and a dual 1/4 in TRS input that also provides a loop out for daisy-chaining sources. The outputs are separately driven to ensure stable performance across multiple headphones and impedance loads.
Performance specifications support high-fidelity monitoring across a wide frequency range with a declared frequency response of 20 Hz to 50 kHz (±1.5 dB, 100 Ω load). Distortion is kept low with THD+N under 0.1% at 10 mW into 100 Ω, and crosstalk is specified at better than -75 dB at 1 kHz. The output drive is rated at 60 mW into a 100 Ω load and noise performance is specified below -95 dB at maximum gain for quiet listening environments.
Connectivity is straightforward and flexible – the rear panel houses all input and output connectors while front-panel knobs provide direct, tactile control of each channel. The stereo input LOOP OUT on the dual 1/4 in jack permits chaining to additional equipment without re-patching. Compatibility with common consumer and pro audio source levels is supported via input level specifications for RCA, 1/4 in and mini connectors.
