The EZ-HDA4AX is a compact stereo headphone distribution amplifier designed to feed four independent headphone outputs from a single stereo source. It provides reliable level control and low-noise amplification in a small 1/3-rack form factor. Each of the four front-panel outputs is driven separately and includes its own LEVEL control for precise adjustment. Inputs are unbalanced and available on rear-panel RCA jacks plus a front/back-compatible stereo mini-jack and a 1/4″ TRS jack. Gold-plated RCA connectors ensure secure, low-resistance input connections and stable signal transfer.
Performance specifications include a wide frequency response from 20 Hz to 50 kHz and low distortion, with THD+N below 0.1% at typical headphone output levels. Connectivity covers stereo inputs on dual RCA, a stereo mini-jack, and a 1/4″ TRS input, while the front panel provides four stereo mini-jack headphone outputs for quick access. Power is supplied by an external 24 Vdc adapter and current draw is modest, keeping heat and power demands low.
