The EZ-ADA4X is a compact stereo audio distribution amplifier designed to accept a single stereo source and deliver four identical stereo outputs. It provides precise level control and front-panel metering to ensure consistent audio across multiple destinations. The unit is built for installations where simple reliable stereo distribution is required.
Key features include stereo input via dual RCA or a stereo mini jack, four unbalanced stereo RCA outputs, and a front-panel LEVEL knob that offers up to 12 dB of gain above nominal. Dual-LED VU meters for left and right channels provide visual level monitoring calibrated to -10 dBV output. Gold-plated connectors on all audio jacks help maintain signal integrity and reduce corrosion.
Performance specifications include a flat frequency response from 10 Hz to 20 kHz and total harmonic distortion plus noise below 0.03 percent. Crosstalk is specified at better than -80 dB at 1 kHz and noise is below -85 dB relative to -10 dBV output. The outputs provide nominal -10 dBV with a maximum of +16 dBV and the input can accept up to +22 dBV.
Connectivity is straightforward with inputs and outputs located on the rear panel for clean rack or shelf installations. The unit accepts stereo input on dual RCA jacks or a stereo mini jack and supplies four stereo RCA outputs. Power is provided by a 24 Vdc supply and the device draws low current, typically 20 mA idle and 60 mA maximum.
The EZ-ADA4X is suitable for retail audio zones, houses of worship, restaurants, clubs, commercial A/V systems and security audio feeds. It is designed for environments that require reliable replication of a stereo feed to multiple endpoints while retaining level control and visual metering. The compact 1 3rd rack width footprint makes it easy to integrate into existing consoles or partial racks.
