Description
The EXT3-C-WP-XR-T is a wall-plate HDBaseT transmitter that extends HDMI video, USB, Ethernet, IR and RS-232 signals over a single twisted-pair cable. It accepts DP Alt Mode USB-C sources and can supply USB power under PD 3.0 up to 60W. The unit supports long-reach signal extension and can be remotely powered via PoE from a compatible receiver or PoE source.
The transmitter converts all connected inputs into an HDBaseT 3.0 stream and transmits uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 HDMI with HDCP 2.3 support. It provides a mirrored HDMI loop output for a local display and extends USB 2.0 for cameras, HID devices and audio peripherals. Status LEDs for HDMI, Loop, HDBT, PoE and USB host simplify troubleshooting.
Performance includes an 18Gbps HDMI data rate and full HDMI 2.0b feature support including HDR10 and x.v.Color. The extender carries up to 32 audio channels of uncompressed digital audio and supports 1 Gbps Ethernet extension in both directions. When used with recommended HDBaseT cabling the reach can be up to 90m (295ft).
Connectivity includes a DP Alt Mode & PD 3.0 USB-C input, an HDBT RJ-45 output, HDMI loop output, two USB 2.0 type-A ports, 1 Gbps LAN RJ-45, IR terminal block, and RS-232 terminal block. The unit mirrors HDMI to the loop output and extends IR to the transmitter area for device control. USB hubs are integrated to present remote and local USB devices to an active host.
Typical applications include meetings, classrooms and training spaces that require BYOD presentation and remote AV extension. The transmitter supports laptop USB-C presentation while providing Ethernet and USB device connectivity over a single cable. It is suited for conference rooms, lecture halls and podium deployments that need a clean wall-plate interface.
The compact WW 2-gang form factor fits standard in-wall boxes and provides a modern front panel for room integration. Installation requires a single HDBaseT twisted-pair run to the compatible receiver and optional PoE powering to eliminate local power supplies. The aluminum enclosure, fan ventilation and CE/UKCA compliance support reliable operation in installed environments.
