The VGA and Audio to HDMI Scaler Converter is a compact converter designed to scale and convert analog VGA video and L/R stereo audio into a single HDMI digital output. It accepts VGA signals up to WUXGA and outputs HDMI up to 1080p60 or 1920 x 1200. The unit embeds two-channel analog audio into the HDMI stream and presents an intuitive on-screen display for configuration.
Key features include scaling to Full HD, a built-in test pattern generator, and selectable aspect ratio control including Full Screen / Panoramic / Letter/Pillar / Extract/Crop. The unit supports advanced EDID management and firmware updates via the included USB interface and the Gefen Syner-G software. The device also provides a locking power connector and a wide 6V to 24V DC operating range for flexible installations.
Performance specifications include a maximum pixel clock of 165 MHz and a maximum TMDS clock of 225 MHz. Connectivity options are straightforward: a single VGA HD-15 input, a locking HDMI Type A output, a 3.5mm mini-stereo jack for L/R audio input, and a Mini-B USB port for configuration and firmware updates.
