The EXT-UHD600-14 is a 1×4 Ultra HD HDMI splitter engineered to distribute a single HDMI 2.0 source to up to four displays. It supports full 4K60 video at 4:4:4 chroma and HDR where specified, preserving color fidelity and dynamic range from source to screen. This compact, surface-mountable unit is designed for professional and commercial AV installations that require accurate picture and audio reproduction.
Key features include native support for 4K DCI 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz 4:4:4, HDR capability, and HDCP 2.2/1.4 compatibility. The splitter also supports uncompressed LPCM up to 7.1 channels and High Bit Rate formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Long Reach Power (LRP) on HDMI outputs 1 and 2 provides 5V at 500 mA to power select compatible extenders through the HDMI connection.
Performance is driven by a 600 MHz maximum pixel clock, enabling lossless 4:4:4 color sampling at 4K60 and DCI 4K playback. The unit supports multiple color depths including 10-bit HDR modes and 12-bit at 1080p where applicable. MTBF is rated at 300000 hours to support continuous commercial use and the splitter accommodates cascading to scale to many displays in signage and distribution systems.
Connectivity includes one locking Type A HDMI input and four locking Type A HDMI outputs, plus a USB mini-B port for EDID and HDCP management and firmware updates via Gefen Syner-G software. The device accepts 5V DC input via a locking power connector and provides status LEDs for power, input, outputs, and EDID/audio selection. It also supports HDMI-to-DVI connection for legacy equipment up to 1080p or 1920×1200 via adapters.
