The EXP-SP-0102-H2 is a 1-in 2-out HDMI scaling splitter designed to duplicate and manage UHD and HD HDMI sources across mixed-resolution displays. It supports HDMI 2.0 bandwidth up to 18Gbps and handles 4K60 video signals including HDR10 and Dolby Vision. This unit provides per-output downscaling so 4K sources can play while some displays receive 1080p signals.
Key features include full HDMI 2.0 18Gbps support, HDR10 and Dolby Vision compatibility, and a built-in scaler capable of downscaling outputs to 1080p. The splitter negotiates EDID and HDCP automatically to simplify setup and ensure compatible handshake with displays and source devices. Each output delivers a clean, duplicated signal with automatic cable equalization for signal regeneration.
Performance specifications include support for 3840×2160@60Hz 10bit 4:2:0 and 4:4:4 profiles as listed by the manufacturer, a maximum pixel clock of 600MHz, and compliance with DCI, RGB, HLG and BT.2020 color spaces. Audio formats supported include 2-channel PCM and multichannel LPCM up to DTS-X and Dolby Atmos when present in the source. The device is fully HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports data rates up to 18Gbps.
Connectivity includes one 19-pin HDMI type A input and two 19-pin HDMI type A outputs. Control and communication features are HDMI-based EDID and HDCP negotiation and DVI-D compatibility via adapter if required. Power is provided via a 5V DC 1A adapter and the unit has a maximum power consumption of 1.8W.
