The EX-100-USB3 is an HDBaseT USB 3.2 Gen 1 extender designed to carry high-speed USB signals up to 100 meters over a single CATx link. It extends USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity while preserving up to 5Gbps transfer rates, enabling remote placement of USB peripherals. The unit supports a four-port downstream receiver arrangement to connect multiple USB devices simultaneously.
Key features include support for USB 3.2 Gen 1 transport at 5Gbps, HDBaseT-based transmission to 100m, and PoH+ power delivery up to 25.5W. The extender provides a high-current USB output option targeted for power-hungry devices such as USB 3.0 cameras. The design includes a single TX host port and a multi-port RX to accommodate common AV and broadcast peripherals.
Performance specifications ensure reliable long-distance operation – USB 3.2 Gen 1 at up to 5Gbps and HDBaseT transmission to 100m. PoH+ supplies up to 25.5W to remote devices while the transmitter accepts a DC 20V 3A locking power supply. Connectivity options include one TX USB Host port, one TX RJ45 output, and an RX assembly providing four USB 3.2 Type-A ports. The system uses a standard RJ45 CATx link for the HDBaseT connection and ships with a 1.8m USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-B cable. The included power supply supports US/EU/UK/AU mains configurations and the hardware includes mounting brackets for fixed installations.
