The EX-100-KVM-IP is a KVM extender set that transmits HDMI video over Gigabit IP networks while preserving near-zero latency. It enables 4K@30Hz video distribution and USB 2.0 peripheral extension across long distances on 1G networks. The product is designed for professional AV deployments that require accurate video and responsive control.
This extender pair supports compressed IP video streaming, USB 2.0 over IP and a built-in USB hub to connect keyboards, mice and other USB devices. It offers ultra-low end-to-end latency of less than 1 millisecond and supports HDCP 1.4 and common multichannel audio codecs. The unit also preserves EDID limited copy for reliable display negotiation.
Performance highlights include support for 1920x1080p@60Hz 12bit and 3840x2160p@30Hz 8bit video modes as well as 4096x2160p@30Hz 8bit. The encoder uses compressed IP output with up to 9Gb/s encoding data rate and a maximum pixel clock of 300MHz. Audio is carried in multiple formats including PCM, Dolby and DTS variants for full-channel audio pass-through.
Connectivity includes an HDMI input on the encoder and an HDMI output on the receiver plus LAN ports for network transport on both units. USB 2.0 device extension is supported over the network and the internal hub supplies USB ports for peripherals. The system is compatible with standard Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure and supports multiple extenders on the same network via DIP switch addressing.
Typical use cases include remote workstation extension, control-room operator stations, digital signage networks and AV-over-IP installations where real-time interaction is required. The device is suitable for corporate, education and specialized AV environments that require 4K display support and local USB peripheral access. It supports multi-channel audio formats for complete AV delivery.
Installation is plug-and-play with zero configuration required for typical deployments and includes a compact, durable enclosure with mounting brackets. Power is delivered by 12V 1A adapters and each unit consumes approximately 2.5W. The product carries common global certifications for electromagnetic compliance and materials safety.
