The EX-100-IW-USBC is an in-wall HDBaseT USB extender kit engineered to extend USB 3.2 Gen1 signals up to 100m over a single twisted-pair cable. It comprises a slim in-wall transmitter and a compact receiver that preserve USB 3.2 data rates up to 5Gbps. This kit supports multiple USB peripherals through a four-port USB-A hub on the receiver side.
Key features include USB 3.2 Gen1 5Gbps throughput, HDBaseT transmission up to 100m, and support for PoH+ power redundancy. The receiver provides four USB 3.2 Type-A ports for simultaneous connection of HID devices, storage, cameras, and other peripherals. The transmitter accepts a USB-C host connection and includes a micro USB firmware port and an auxiliary DC input for redundant power.
Performance is engineered for low-latency USB traffic and full USB 3.2 bandwidth when used with compliant hosts and devices. Power consumption varies by load with measured maximum draw of 39.79W when USB ports are fully loaded and 6.94W with no USB load.
Connectivity includes a USB-C host input on the transmitter and four USB 3.2 Type-A outputs on the receiver plus RJ45 HDBT links between units. The transmitter can accept power from the receiver via PoH+ or from a rear two-pin DC connector for redundancy. The kit is compatible with common USB 3.2 peripherals and uses standard RJ45 cabling for integration into AV infrastructure.
