The EX-100-IW-USBC is an in-wall HDBaseT USB extender kit designed to move USB 3.2 Gen1 signals up to 100m over a single category cable. It pairs a single-gang transmitter and a matching receiver to place USB ports where they are needed while keeping host equipment centralized. The kit supports high-speed peripherals and maintains signal integrity across distance.
Key features include USB 3.2 Gen1 data rates up to 5Gbps and four downstream USB Type-A ports at the receiver. The transmitter provides a USB Type-C host connection and a dedicated RJ45 HDBaseT output to the receiver. Power options include receiver-powered operation or an auxiliary two-pin power input on the transmitter for redundancy.
Performance is optimized for low-latency USB data transport and sustained throughput for bandwidth-intensive devices. The extender reliably conveys USB 3.2 Gen1 traffic at distances up to 100m over Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. Power draw varies with peripheral load and is specified for both fully loaded and idle conditions.
