The EVOLVE 50 column speaker subwoofer is a powered portable PA component designed to deliver full-range sound with controlled coverage. This white column sub pairs a 12 in ported subwoofer with an 8-driver column array to reproduce bass and clarity across a 37 Hz to 20 kHz range. The purpose of the system is to provide a compact, transportable loudspeaker that balances low-frequency impact and vocal intelligibility.
Key features include a 1000 W Class-D amplifier, QuickSmartDSP processing, and magnet-assisted pole assembly for fast setup. The column contains eight 3.5 in neodymium drivers and composite waveguides to provide 120 deg horizontal and 40 deg asymmetrical vertical coverage. The subwoofer delivers a functional low end to 37 Hz and a maximum SPL up to 127 dB for dynamic performance.
Technical performance is defined by a 43 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response (-3 dB) and a 200 Hz crossover between the column and sub. The system splits 500 W to the LF channel and 500 W to the HF channel within the 1000 W rating. QuickSmartDSP provides four factory presets and five user presets, 3-band EQ, output delay, phantom power +15 V, and visual limiter monitoring to help manage gain structure.
Connectivity covers professional and consumer sources via dual XLR/TRS combo inputs, 3.5 mm aux input, stereo RCA input, Bluetooth audio input, XLR THRU and XLR MIX OUT. Bluetooth Low Energy is supported for remote control via the QuickSmart Mobile app and high-resolution Bluetooth audio is available in supported countries. The signal is routed internally through the pole for a streamlined cable setup.
Typical use cases include small to mid-size live performances, corporate sound reinforcement, house-of-worship services, and DJ or presenter backline support. The asymmetrical vertical coverage directs energy to both seated and standing audiences for even intelligibility. With 127 dB peak output and deep extension, the system can handle music playback and spoken word applications reliably.
Installation and transport are simplified by a magnet-assisted bi-directional aluminum pole and a gravity-held column array that require minimal assembly. The subwoofer enclosure is built from 15 mm plywood and the column is composite for durability while keeping weight manageable. QuickSmartDSP and the mobile app make tuning and system monitoring fast on site for repeatable results.
