The EVF-1152D/96-WHT is a two-way, point-source loudspeaker engineered for medium-throw sound reinforcement in both indoor and weather-exposed installations. It combines a 15 in low-frequency transducer and a 3 in titanium compression driver on a 90 x 60 rotatable constant-directivity horn to deliver focused coverage. The enclosure uses weather-resistant birch and an EVCoat finish to improve durability in demanding environments.
Key features include a DVX3151A 15 in FEA-optimized woofer and a DH7N 3 in compression driver with a 1.4 in throat diameter mounted to a rotatable 12 in x 12 in constant-directivity horn. The integrated 4th-order crossover at 1,300 Hz uses 24 dB/octave slopes plus HF protection and a dynamic protection circuit for thermal overload safety. The system supports switchable bi-amp or passive operation for flexible system integration.
Performance specifications indicate a wide usable frequency range and high output capability. The documented frequency range values include a -10 dB point of 40 Hz – 21 and a -3 dB response of 70 Hz – 18 as provided by the manufacturer. The enclosure includes 22 M10 threaded suspension points and optional flying hardware for flown arrays or fixed installs.
The EVF-1152D/96-WHT is suited to a range of practical applications such as foreground reinforcement in performance venues, fill and delay zones in houses of worship, and installed sound in hospitality and retail environments. Its rotatable waveguide and trapezoidal cabinet allow horizontal and vertical arraying with other EVF and EVH series models.
