The EVF-1152D/94-FGW is a fully weatherized 15 in two-way point-source loudspeaker designed for medium-field, medium-throw coverage. It combines a FEA-optimized 15 in woofer and a 3 in titanium compression driver on a rotatable 90 x 40 waveguide to deliver focused, intelligible sound. The enclosure is fiberglass coated over 13-ply birch to withstand direct exposure to sun, rain, fog and snow.
Key features include a rotatable 90 x 40 constant directivity horn, a DH7N 3 in titanium compression driver, and a DVX3151A 15 in LF transducer tuned for low distortion and high efficiency. The integrated 24 dB per octave crossover is set at 1300 Hz and includes HF protection plus a dynamic protection circuit for thermal overload safety. The unit supports switchable bi-amp or passive operation and can accept an optional 70.7/100 V transformer for distributed systems.
Performance specifications include a frequency response of 107 Hz to 18 kHz at -3 dB and an extended range to 58 Hz to 21 kHz at -10 dB. Axial sensitivity is 100 dB for the full band and calculated maximum SPL reaches 134 dB. Passive power handling is 600 W continuous with 2400 W peak, and nominal impedance is 8 ohms with a 6.0 ohm minimum.
Connectivity is handled via dual four-pin 10 AWG Phoenix/Euro block screw-terminals with a CDG dual-gland-nut input panel cover included for weatherizing. An externally accessible jumper allows quick selection between passive and active operation modes. The input panel accommodates a Phoenix connector and supports large gauge wiring for permanent installs.
The EVF-1152D/94-FGW is engineered for fixed installations that demand weather resistance and arraying flexibility. The trapezoidal enclosure and M10 threaded suspension points support vertical or horizontal arrays and integration with other EVF and EVH series models. Stainless steel grille and fasteners, hydrophobic cloth behind the grille, and fiberglass finish ensure long-term outdoor reliability.
Installation and serviceability are simplified with an easy external operation mode switch, optional flying hardware, and an input panel that can be adapted for NL4 connectors or gland nuts for weatherized cabling. The enclosure is compact for a 15 in two-way system and the textured white finish provides discreet aesthetic integration.
