The EVF-1122D/99-BLK is a two-way, arrayable point-source loudspeaker designed to deliver clear vocal and program reproduction in a compact enclosure. It combines a 12in low-frequency driver and a 3in titanium compression driver on a rotatable 90 x 90 constant-directivity horn. The enclosure is finished in weather-resistant EVCoat and built from 13-ply birch for durability.
Key features include a FEA-optimized DVX3121A 12in woofer and a DH7N 3in titanium compression driver with a 1.4in throat. The acoustic design centers on a rotatable 12in x 12in constant-directivity horn providing 90 x 90 coverage for predictable directivity. An integrated 4th-order crossover with a 1300 Hz acoustic crossover point and a dynamic HF protection circuit ensure controlled response at high SPL.
Performance specifications include a wide frequency response down to 49 Hz (-10 dB) and a linear response from 49 Hz to 21 kHz with maximum deviation of +/-2 dB. The system handles 600 W continuous, 1200 W program, and 2400 W peak in passive mode and reaches calculated 131 dB SPL at 1 m. Nominal impedance in passive mode is 8 ohms and the recommended high-pass is 65 Hz.
Connectivity is handled via a Phoenix-style euroblock input panel that accepts up to 10 AWG, with optional dual NL4 or gland-nut covers for weatherized deployments. An externally accessible jumper switches between passive and bi-amp active operation. A transformer kit for 70.7/100 V systems can be mounted to the input panel when required.
The EVF-1122D/99-BLK supports both vertical and horizontal array configurations and is compatible with other models in the EVF and EVH series. The trapezoidal enclosure and multiple M10 suspension points simplify flown or fixed installations. The grille is galvanneal with a vinyl-coated acoustic screen and stainless steel fasteners for long-term durability in standard environments.
Installation is straightforward with 22 M10 threaded suspension points and an included EBK-M10-EVI kit of four forged eyebolts for basic rigging. The unit is compact yet robust, weighing 29.7 kg net and finished in black textured paint for unobtrusive integration. Overall, the EVF-1122D/99-BLK balances high output, clarity, and build quality for installed sound reinforcement applications.
