The EPB-3200A is an integrated video production kit designed to provide a complete multicamera switching and streaming solution. It combines a 12-input SDI/HDMI switcher and studio monitor with robotic PTZ camera control and live streaming capability. The kit is engineered to simplify classroom and small-studio production workflows while maintaining broadcast-grade formats.
Core features include a 12-channel SDI/HDMI switcher with a 17.3 inch full HD monitor, chroma and luma keying, downstream keyer and PiP functionality. The included PTZ cameras offer 20x optical zoom and multiple network and serial control protocols. A dedicated PTZ controller supports camera presets, speed modes and tally integration for live switching coordination.
Video performance supports Full HD formats including 1080p60, 1080i and 720p at standard broadcast frame rates. The switcher includes an H.264 encoder capable of configurable bit rates up to 10 Mb/s and AAC-LC audio encoding with 48 kHz sampling. Monitoring and program outputs are provided via multiple SDI and HDMI ports to support recording and external displays.
Connectivity covers eight SDI inputs plus four HDMI inputs and multiple SDI/HDMI outputs for program and monitoring. Network streaming is supported over RTSP and RTMP/RTMPS plus TS over TCP/UDP for flexible distribution. Control interfaces include GPI, USB firmware update and a tally interface to tie camera and switcher status together.
This solution fits a range of use cases including classroom instruction, small studios, corporate presentations and houses of worship where a compact, portable production system is required. The system supports multi-camera switching, live streaming and recording while providing camera control and preset recall for repeatable framing. Built-in keying and logo/still stores aid branded live productions.
Installation and day-to-day operation focus on accessibility and durability – the switcher features a lightweight portable chassis and an integrated full HD monitor for immediate confidence checks. PTZ camera control is achieved via an ergonomic joystick controller and network or serial commands for system integrators. Firmware update paths and standard network protocols ensure long-term maintainability and integration into existing AV infrastructure.
