The EPB-2600 Educator Production Bundle is a compact live production system designed to teach and perform HD live video workflows. It combines an 8-input portable studio with integrated streaming encoder and recorder alongside PTZ camera control and instructional curriculum. The bundle is aimed at classroom and campus AV programs that require a complete, transportable production solution.
The core studio unit supports routable HD inputs, multi-format video, A+V switching, chroma-key virtual studio and built-in CG titles. It records MP4 files using H.264 or H.265 and streams via RTMP RTSP or SRT. The system includes audio support with embedded SDI/HDMI channels plus analogue I/O for flexible source integration.
Video capabilities include 1080p/1080i/720p formats at 50/59.94/60Hz and repeatable crosspoint routing across all eight inputs. The unit provides multiple PGM outputs in 3G-SDI and HDMI 1.4, picture-in-picture, DSK layers and logo insertion. Audio features include AAC streaming encode, 16bit 48KHz and up to four embedded SDI channels.
Connectivity covers 4 x 3G-SDI and 4 x HDMI inputs, computer graphic interfaces via HDMI, and down-converted/aux outputs for monitoring. The included PTZ cameras offer HDMI 3G-SDI and PoE network outputs with NDI and streaming support. Control options include a tactile RMC-180 camera controller and web UI for streaming and recording management.
Typical use cases include morning announcements, student news shows and live events where portability and quick setup are essential. Educators can integrate the provided Teachers Guide and Activity Book to map lessons to ISTE standards and provide hands-on exercises. The system supports multi-camera production, graphic overlays and chroma keying for advanced curriculum objectives.
Installation and operation are streamlined with a built-in 17.3 inch HD monitor, playback and streaming controls accessible via web UI, and physical DC 12V power supply. The HS-2600 chassis is a reinforced carry case designed for repeated transport and classroom use.
