The EnStation6 is a 5 GHz single-band outdoor WiFi 6 bridge designed to link buildings and extend network coverage across large outdoor properties. It provides a point-to-point outdoor wireless link using 802.11ax technology to deliver higher throughput and improved spectral efficiency. The product targets scenarios where running fiber is impractical or cost-prohibitive and where extended-range wireless connectivity is required.
Key features include WiFi 6 OFDMA support, beamforming optimization, and a 2×2 radio design capable of up to 1,200 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. The unit integrates a high gain 19 dBi directional antenna and supports up to 26 dBm transmit power to extend links up to 5 miles under ideal conditions. It also supports MU-MIMO and SU-MIMO operation to handle multiple client streams simultaneously.
Technically the CPE operates as a single-band 5 GHz device covering multiple regulatory channel ranges and supports HE 20/40/80 MHz channelization in 802.11ax mode. The radio uses two transmit/receive chains and supports OFDMA and VHT operations for efficient multi-client delivery. Supported data rates span 18 to 1200 Mbps under 802.11ax and include backward compatibility with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac modes.
Connectivity is provided via a Gigabit Ethernet PoE port plus one additional Gigabit Ethernet port and it ships with a proprietary 54V power injector (EPA5006GR). Operation modes include AP, Station, WDS AP, WDS Station and Repeater to suit different deployment topologies. LED indicators for power, LAN, WLAN and signal strength aid in alignment and status monitoring during installation.
Typical use cases include building-to-building network links, long-range surveillance camera backhaul, and extending network access across campuses or large estates. The radio throughput and MU-MIMO capabilities make it suitable for video streaming and multi-application traffic including high-resolution video. Beamforming and a directional antenna improve link reliability and reduce interference in point-to-point deployments.
Installers benefit from a weatherproof IP55 housing, 3-axis pivoting arm for precise alignment and integrated surge and ESD protection designed for outdoor operation. The unit is compact and light enough for pole or wall mounting and supports deployment distances over 100 meters of cable using the supplied PoE injector. Overall the EnStation6 combines WiFi 6 enhancements and ruggedized outdoor design to deliver extended-range wireless Ethernet links.
