The ECW130 is a cloud managed WiFi 5 indoor access point designed to deliver business-class wireless connectivity. It provides concurrent dual-band operation to support dense client environments and offers centralized management through a single cloud console. This device is engineered to increase uptime and simplify maintenance across distributed locations.
Key features include 4×4 MU-MIMO radios, beamforming, and VHT channel support to maximize throughput and client capacity. The AP delivers up to 1733 Mbps on the 5 GHz radio and up to 800 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz radio for simultaneous high-speed connections. It supports MU-MIMO and SU-MIMO spatial streams to improve multi-client performance.
Technical specifications include a Qualcomm dual-core Krait CPU at 1.4 GHz, internal omni-directional antennas, and support for IEEE 802.11ac and 802.11n standards. The ECW130 supports VHT80 on 5 GHz and VHT40 on 2.4 GHz, plus 256-QAM support under HT40 to extend throughput. Transmit power is 24 dBm on 5 GHz and 25 dBm on 2.4 GHz, subject to regulatory limits.
Connectivity options include a Gigabit RJ-45 PoE+ port and a second Gigabit RJ-45 port for data pass-through and link aggregation up to 2 Gbps. Management features include multiple BSSIDs, 802.1q VLAN tagging, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and support for WPA3 and WPA2 enterprise security. LED indicators provide quick status for power, LAN ports, and radio activity.
Typical use cases include multi-tenant offices, classrooms, retail floors, and branch locations requiring centralized cloud management and high client density support. The ECW130 handles concurrent voice and data traffic with IEEE 802.11e WMM QoS and supports up to eight SSIDs per radio for network segmentation. It also supports mesh and AP mesh modes for flexible deployment where cabling is limited.
Installation is straightforward with ceiling and wall mount hardware included and 802.3at PoE support for simplified power delivery. The enclosure and internal antenna design offer a low-profile aesthetic for indoor environments and durable operation across standard commercial temperature ranges. Firmware updates and remote troubleshooting are available via the cloud console to reduce on-site maintenance.
