The ECS1112FP is a cloud managed Layer 2+ Gigabit PoE+ switcher designed to deliver centralized network control and reliable power for edge devices. It provides eight 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+ ports and a 130W total PoE budget to support access points, IP cameras, and VoIP endpoints. The device supports both cloud and local management options to match administrative preferences and network architecture.
Key features include full Layer 2+ switching capabilities, 24 Gbps switching capacity, and dual uplink options using two Gigabit Ethernet ports plus two dual-speed SFP ports. All eight ports support 802.3at/af PoE+ so powered devices can be deployed without separate power sources. The switch also supports jumbo frames up to 9K and advanced multicast handling for optimized traffic flows.
On the systems side, the ECS1112FP ships with 256MB SDRAM and 32MB flash for firmware and configuration storage. It supports multiple IP interfaces, up to 20 IPv6 addresses, ARP tables and static ARP entries, plus IPv4 and IPv6 static routes. QoS with eight priority queues, SNMP v1/v2c/v3 support, and CLI/SSH access provide tools to tune and monitor performance.
Connectivity covers eight Gigabit PoE+ ports plus two dedicated Gigabit Ethernet uplinks and two dual-speed SFP fiber uplinks for flexible network topologies. VLAN, voice VLAN, IGMP/MLD snooping, 802.3ad link aggregation, and 802.1Q tagging ensure compatibility with enterprise and AV network designs. Management options include EnGenius Cloud, SkyKey, ezMaster, and a local web GUI for on-premises control.
The ECS1112FP is suited to small and medium business deployments including PoE surveillance systems, wireless LAN aggregation, and VoIP infrastructures. Its 130W PoE budget and eight PoE+ ports support multiple cameras or access points while simplifying cabling and power. The switch is also appropriate for remote offices and branch locations that rely on cloud or centralized management.
