The DRM2-Plus Passive Faceplate Redundant Power Supply is a rack-mounted power solution engineered to collocate and secure multiple Mini-Converters in a compact 3 RU frame. It centralizes power delivery and redundancy for AJA Mini-Converters while maintaining a tidy rack footprint. This unit provides a continuous 288 W maximum output to support mixed converter deployments.
The design includes passive redundancy and a proprietary power interface tailored to AJA Mini-Converters – ensuring safe, reliable power distribution across multiple modules. The 3 RU form factor accommodates a high density of devices, fitting up to 12 standard Mini-Converters and up to 6 next-generation Mini-Converters. The passive topology reduces moving parts and simplifies maintenance.
Technically the power supply accepts a wide AC input range of 100 to 240 VAC at 50 / 60 Hz and delivers up to 288 W of power. Power I/O is provided via AJA’s proprietary interface and specific faceplate connectors are used to mate with compatible Mini-Converters. The packaging weight and box dimensions reflect a design intended for rack integration and professional shipping.
