The DRM2-Plus Active Faceplate Power Supply is a rackable single power module designed to provide centralized power for AJA Mini-Converters. It occupies a 3 RU frame and delivers up to 288 W of consolidated output to power multiple converter modules. The unit is intended to streamline power management and secure Mini-Converter installations in broadcast and production racks.
The supply features an active single power architecture that supports standard and next-generation Mini-Converters. It can accommodate twelve standard Mini-Converters or six next-generation Mini-Converters when deployed in the matching frame. The active design helps maintain stable voltage under variable load conditions and reduces the number of individual AC power connections required in a rack.
Electrically the unit accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz and provides a maximum output of 288 W. The faceplate integrates with a proprietary power interface used by AJA Mini-Converters to distribute power across the mounted modules. Power I/O is specified by the manufacturer protocol and the supply is intended to be used with compatible AJA frames and Mini-Converter series.
