The DR-2202 is a 22-inch dental display engineered as a clinical visualization endpoint for dental operatories. It presents full HD 1920 x 1080 images with true 8-bit color depth and factory calibration to Delta E ≤ 2 for consistent output. The display is IEC / EN 60601-1 and 60601-1-2 certified for patient-vicinity electrical safety.
Key features include a preset DICOM Simulation Mode aligned to DICOM Part 14, an optical bonding design to reduce internal reflections, and front-side NeoV™ Optical Glass with IP65 protection. The panel achieves 500 cd/m² peak brightness and 300 cd/m² in the DICOM preset to preserve diagnostic tonal range. The display surface is chemically resistant and supports routine spray-and-wipe disinfection.
Technically the DR-2202 uses an IPS panel with a 0.248 mm pixel pitch, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178°/178° viewing angles. Response time is 5 ms and the surface has anti-glare treatment (Haze 25%) plus 3H hard coating. Glass construction is 1.8 mm thick with 97% transmission to maximize contrast in bright rooms.
Connectivity covers DisplayPort, HDMI 1.4 and VGA inputs and a USB 2.0 service port, enabling direct connection to common dental imaging systems and PCs. Audio input and dual 3W speakers are included for patient education and case review. Power is supplied externally via DC 12V 5.0A and a 5 m cable is provided to ease chair-side installations.
The DR-2202 is designed for shared use across imaging review, treatment discussion and patient communication in dental workflows. Optional accessories such as ergonomic handles and VESA-compatible stands allow chair-side or cart mounting while the lightweight 4.7 kg chassis reduces stress on mount arms. Metal casing with IK07 impact resistance adds durability in busy clinical settings.
Installation is straightforward thanks to VESA 100 x 100 mm and 300 x 100 mm mounting compatibility and a low-voltage power architecture common in dental units.
