The DC-2B desktop chassis provides a compact enclosure to house one or two Decora-style modules. It is designed to accept Decora-format remote controls and connector plates and secures them in a low-profile desktop or wall-mounted installation. The chassis is finished in black to match AV furniture and control surfaces.
This chassis includes a precision mounting plate that permits tabletop mounting or attachment to a vertical surface such as a cabinet or wall. Once the mounting plate is secured the chassis slides into a locked position and is fastened with screws for added security. Model suffixes identify finish options: W for white, B for black, G for gray to coordinate with stainless controls and plates.
Construction is welded steel with a durable powder coated finish that resists wear and abrasion. The robust metal body provides reliable mechanical protection for installed control modules and connector plates. The product ships with a listed weight of l.3 lbs and is classified under tariff code 8518.90.3000.
The DC-2B accepts standard Decora-style devices including RDL remote controls and Decora connector plates. It supports single-module and dual-module Decora assemblies and maintains the standard faceplate footprint used in professional AV installations. This makes it compatible with a broad range of Decora-format accessories and panels.
Typical applications include conference room tables, lecterns, credenzas, equipment cabinets and shallow wall pockets where a neat finished appearance is required. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
