The DA3-28-H is a compact 2×1:8 HDMI switcher and distribution amplifier designed to handle 4K60 HDR video signals while maintaining content protection. It selects between an HDMI input and a USB-C input, equalizes and re-clocks the chosen stream, and distributes identical outputs across eight HDMI ports. The unit is intended for integration where reliable multi-output 4K distribution is required.
Key features include support for up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video, intelligent EDID handling, selectable HDCP authorization, and a CEC mediator with flexible routing options. The unit also provides analog audio de-embedding and RS-232 control for external device management. These capabilities help maintain signal integrity and compatibility across mixed-source AV systems.
Performance specifications include an 18 Gbps maximum bandwidth, HDMI 2.0b compliance, and HDCP 2.3 content protection. The unit supports HTTPS Web-UI communications, 802.1x LAN authentication, and role-based user access for secure networked management.
The DA3-28-H is well suited to applications including corporate presentation rooms, digital signage, education facilities, healthcare AV, and government installations where multiple identical displays require the same high-resolution content. Its EDID management and HDCP modes enable interoperability with a wide variety of sources and displays.
