The DA3-24-H is a 2×1:4 HDMI switcher and distribution amplifier designed to select and deliver one of two high-resolution sources to four identical displays. It accepts HDMI and USB-C inputs and supports native 4K60 video with HDR content where applicable. The unit equalizes and re-clocks the selected signal to maintain image integrity across multiple outputs.
Key features include support for 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 color, intelligent EDID handling, selectable HDCP authorization, and an analog audio output de-embedded from the incoming HDMI/USB-C signal. The device offers EDID lock and RGB-force options to ensure compatibility between sources and displays. A CEC mediator with flexible routing improves interoperability with consumer displays and AV sources.
Performance specs include an 18 Gbps maximum bandwidth and HDMI 2.0b compliance to support high-bandwidth 4K signals. The DA3-24-H handles HDCP 2.3 protected content and provides a max power output per HDMI port of 2.5W. Cooling is achieved with a low-noise fan inside a half-U 19 inch aluminum enclosure optimized for rack or ceiling installations.
Connectivity is comprehensive with one HDMI input, one USB-C input, four HDMI outputs plus a local HDMI output, a 1000BaseT RJ-45 Ethernet port for LAN control, and a 5-pin analog audio output. Control options include two RS-232 ports on 3-pin terminal blocks and IO on 2-pin terminal blocks. The unit supports secure web-UI communication via HTTPS and IT grade authentication including 802.1x.
Typical applications include corporate meeting rooms, education facilities, digital signage deployments, retail displays, and healthcare AV systems where distribution of a single 4K source to multiple displays is required. The selectable HDCP mode allows delivery of non-protected content when required while preventing protected content from being transmitted in non-HDCP mode. EDID management simplifies source and display interoperability in mixed AV ecosystems.
Installation is straightforward with a compact half-U form factor for side-by-side rack mounting or concealed ceiling placement. The included 20 VDC power adapter and clear control interfaces enable rapid integration into existing AV systems.
