The DA3-18-H is a 1:8 HDMI distribution amplifier designed to distribute a single HDMI source to eight identical outputs while preserving 4K60 4:4:4 video and HDR10 metadata. This unit equalizes and re-clocks incoming HDMI signals and supports HDCP 2.2 content protection. The compact half-19 inch 1RU enclosure supports rack or ceiling installation for professional AV deployments.
Key capabilities include managed control via a web GUI or Kramer P3K protocol, intelligent EDID handling, forced RGB output options, and automatic per-output downscaling. The unit supports automatic downscaling of 4K sources to 1080p for displays that do not support native 4K. HDCP authorization control and RGB forcing provide additional compatibility and image fidelity options.
Performance specifications include a maximum bandwidth of 18 Gbps, HDMI 2.0b compliance, and support for 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 24bpp resolution. The DA3-18-H is HDR10 compliant and authorized for HDCP 2.2 protected content when enabled. Connectivity is comprehensive with one HDMI input, eight HDMI outputs, one 1000Base-T Ethernet port, and two RS-232 ports. The unit also acts as a CEC mediator with independent CEC on/off per output and an integrated gateway for RS-232 and CEC command translation from any controller. Secure management features include HTTPS web UI, multiple user roles, 802.1x LAN authentication, and OWASP-10 penetration protection.
