The D-RCX1 Decora wall control provides simple room-level source selection and volume control for RDL RCX series room combiners. It is designed to mount in an RDL WB-1U wall box and presents a clean Decora style steel faceplate. The control is optimized for local user access to source and level adjustments.
The control features dedicated pushbuttons for MUSIC and LOCAL selection plus up/down pushbuttons for level adjustment. An integrated LED level readout gives clear visual feedback of relative output level. Long-life pushbuttons ensure reliable operation in high-traffic rooms.
Technically, the unit implements pushbutton up/down volume control and pushbutton source selection between music and local microphone or line inputs. Multiple RCX-1 controls may be connected within a single room to provide distributed control points. The assembly uses an all-steel panel and rear enclosure for durable field use.
Connectivity supports MUSIC source selection and LOCAL selection for microphones and/or line-level inputs as used with RCX room combiners and local audio systems. Multiple controls on a room bus allow synchronized control behavior. The D-RCX1 installs into standard RDL WB-1U wall boxes for straightforward integration.
