The CS-6RMP is a master pack of sixteen 6.5 in 2-way in-ceiling coaxial speakers designed to deliver clear full-range audio in fixed installations. These speakers are intended for distributed audio, background music, and foreground paging applications where discreet ceiling mounting is required. The design emphasizes a near-flangeless magnetic grille that can be painted to match the ceiling for a low-visibility installation.
The CS-6R speaker features a 6.5 in polypropylene coaxial woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 0.75 in variable-axis soft dome tweeter – providing balanced midrange and extended highs. A true high-pass/low-pass crossover network optimizes driver integration for cleaner response and improved dispersion. Metal binding post inputs and a robust frame improve connection reliability and long-term serviceability.
Performance specifications include a frequency response of 50 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB), nominal impedance of 8 ohms, sensitivity of 87 dB at 2.83V/1M, and a recommended amplifier power range of 5-100 W. The coaxial driver topology and tuned crossover deliver intelligible vocals and controlled low frequency output within its enclosure parameters. Mounting depth and cutout dimensions are engineered for shallow-ceiling installations while maintaining acoustic performance.
Connectivity is provided via quality metal push binding posts that accept a range of conductor sizes and terminations. The speaker is compatible with infinite baffle installations and pairs with Phase Velocity V52, V62 and V5520 systems for larger integrated audio systems. An optional pre-construction bracket (RB21) is available to simplify rough-in and ensure accurate cutouts during construction phases.
