The CP-AOCU32/AC-50 is a 50ft USB 3.2 Gen 2 hybrid optical/copper cable designed to deliver high-speed data links between USB-A hosts and USB-C devices. It supports SuperSpeed+ throughput up to 10 Gbps when both host and device implement USB 3.2 Gen 2. This cable is intended for data transfer only and does not support charging or ALT Mode signaling – this limitation should be considered during system design.
Key features include a hybrid construction combining fiber transmit/receive channels and copper conductors to carry control and limited power signals. The optical portion uses a 2 channel OM2 850 nm VCSEL array to preserve signal integrity across the 50ft span.
