The CP-AOCU32/AC-131 is a hybrid USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable engineered to transmit SuperSpeed+ data over long distances. It combines fiber optics and copper conductors to deliver up to 10Gbps throughput over 131ft. The cable is intended for data transfer applications where long reach and signal integrity are required.
Key features include USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ data rates, hybrid fiber and copper construction, and plug-and-play operation. The cable supports backward compatibility with USB 3.0, 2.0 and USB 1.1 at reduced distances. Its construction provides long-term mechanical resilience including crush and tensile ratings.
Technical specifications include a 2 channel OM2 850 nm VCSEL array fiber core combined with bare copper conductors. Maximum data rate is 10 Gbps when connected to USB 3.2 compliant host and device. Power consumption is <=0.5W and the cable requests remote devices be self-powered for reliable operation.
Connectivity is provided via a USB 3.2 Type-A male on one end and a USB 3.2 Type-C male on the other. The cable is backward compatible with USB 3.0, 2.0 and USB 1.1 (USB 1.1 supported up to 50ft). It does not support charging or ALT Mode signaling and it draws power from the USB source when available.
Typical use cases include connecting USB cameras, webcams, speaker phones, printers and other USB peripherals that require long-reach data links. It is suited to AV installations, conference rooms and remote-device deployments where distance exceeds standard copper USB limits. The hybrid design preserves signal integrity across the longer span.
Installation is plug-and-play with no additional drivers required and no external power supply needed in most cases. The jacket is black with a 4.8mm diameter and the cable meets CE/FCC safety, CPR Eca flammability and REACH/RoHS environmental standards.
