The CP-AOCU/CH-33 is an active optical USB-C to HDMI cable engineered to carry UHD video in plenum-rated installations. It converts a USB-C source to an HDMI display connector while maintaining signal integrity over long runs. The cable is thin and flexible to simplify routing in ceilings and conduit.
Key capabilities include support for 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 color, HDR content and HDCP 2.2/1.4 compliance. The cable offers an 18Gbps data rate and embedded multi-channel audio including PCM and Dolby/DTS formats. Its active optical design minimizes signal attenuation and reduces EMI and RFI susceptibility.
Performance specifications include a maximum resolution of 4K@60Hz and support for wide color spaces such as BT.2020 and xvYCC. The cable supports up to 18Gbps bandwidth and transmits 8-channel PCM and lossless Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. EDID and HDCP are handled transparently to preserve source-display negotiation.
Physical connectivity is provided by gold-plated USB-C and HDMI Type A male connectors designed for reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The construction uses polymer optical fibers combined with tinned copper conductors to balance signal and power requirements. The jacket is plenum rated and the cable diameter is approximately 4.7mm for tight routing.
This cable is suited to AV installations requiring long runs of HDMI display signal from USB-C devices, such as meeting rooms, huddle spaces and digital signage deployments.
