The CP-AOCH/PF-295 is an armored active optical HDMI cable designed to carry high-bandwidth video and audio signals over long distances. It delivers 4K@60 4:4:4 video and supports up to 18 Gbps bandwidth to preserve image fidelity. The cable combines fiber optics and reinforced mechanical armor for applications that require extended reach and rugged durability.
Key features include support for 4K@60 4:4:4, HDCP and EDID handling, deep color and x.v.Color, and lossless audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The cable uses 24K gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors and a K-Lock connector at the display end for secure mating. A USB type A pigtail is provided to supply external power to displays that require it.
Performance specifications include an 18 Gbps data rate and support for resolutions up to 3840×2160 and 4096×2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma. The cable construction uses OM3 multimode fiber cores inside a 4.0 mm plenum-rated PVC jacket and is engineered to meet long-run distance requirements up to 100 meters. Mechanical tests cover crush, tensile and bending resistance to ensure consistent signal delivery in demanding installations.
Connectivity is straightforward: male HDMI Type A connectors at both ends, one end fitted with a K-Lock retention mechanism and a USB type A pigtail for optional display power. The cable is HDCP and EDID compliant to maintain content protection and display handshake across a wide range of sources and sinks.
