The CP-AOCH/PF-230 is a high-speed HDMI active optical cable designed to deliver uncompressed 4K video over long distances. It uses fiber optic transmission to maintain 4K@60 4:4:4 image quality and supports HDMI audio formats. The cable is engineered for demanding installations that require low EMI and high durability.
Key features include 18 Gbps bandwidth, HDCP and EDID support, and deep color capability including x.v.Color. The cable uses 8x multimode fibers and 24K gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors to ensure reliable signal integrity. K-Lock connectors provide 15 lbs of restraining force to prevent accidental disconnection.
Performance specifications support up to 4K@60 4:4:4 and data rates up to 18 Gbps over runs as long as 100 meters. The AOC carries lossless audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio and supports 5.1/7.1 channel audio. OM3 multimode fiber construction and a 4.0 mm plenum-rated jacket balance flexibility and long-term reliability.
Connectivity includes HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends and an external USB Type A pigtail for display-side power when required. The cable draws power from the video source when available and accepts external USB power for displays that require it. EDID and HDCP compatibility facilitate plug-and-play operation with most HDMI sources and displays.
The CP-AOCH/PF-230 is suited to clinical environments, broadcast systems, control rooms, and digital signage where long cable runs and EMI immunity are critical. It is specified for plenum installations and employs an integrated stainless steel corrugated tube with Kevlar reinforcement for tensile and crush protection. The cable is dispensed from a mobile plastic spool for safer deployment in the field.
